About Emzy Music.
As an academic awarded best overall performance for Masters in Event Project Management, Emzy knows how to put on a killer show. From pulling your heart strings to playing guitar strings, Emzy’s catalogue contains a wide range of flavours for every taste.
Drawing inspiration from a mixed bowl of artists and bands such as Nancy Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, Amy MacDonald, Taylor Swift, Holly Humberstone, B.o.B, The Cranberries, Arctic Monkey’s, Fleetwood Mac, The Pretenders, Dire Straits and Radiohead.
Special Talents
Shorter (and sweeter) than Sabrina Carpenter (just), & although small, has a large vocal range and vast knowledge of songs from 1950s to current day so can pull off many a song request.
Holding a Grade 2 in Violin, Emzy also Plays guitar and keys, and makes use of a looping pedal in performances where appropriate.
Can cut a fair amount of shapes when dancing comes out on stage! And can also (kind of) play instruments with toes.
About Tate Note.
For songs less in need of stripped back accoustics and more in need of a fuller sound, Tate often accompanies, with his many talents. Acting as every other member of the ‘band’ 🤣 – depending on the song, he adds rhythm, lead, bass, drum and backing singing.
Tate Note is also a solo artist as well, performing originals & covers. So, between the two of us we have a super extra extensive catalogue of songs.
Special Talents:
Beat boxing, rapping, improvising, fiddly guitar solos and murging into complex tempos. Also has a knack for carrying equipment and, as such, often refers to himself as the ‘mule’.
Drawing inspiration from a range of popular artists such as Plan B, Ben Howard, Mumford & Sons, The Kooks, and the Script, and can also pull off several albums worth of killer Ed Sheeran covers.
